National General is seeking an Inside Property Adjuster to join our Claims team! This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home while conducting occasional in-person inspections to evaluate homeowner property claims. Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims, with proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis, is highly preferred.
• For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome
• Demonstrates intermediate understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding most aspects of homeowner first party claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
• Learns how to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is: Inside Adjuster Cons I: $53,500 - $77,800 Inside Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $82,500 Inside Adjuster Sr Cons I: $65,650 - $104,100 And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
